What Makes a Room Feel Safe?
Safety is mostly design. The rest is people who know their job.
People often assume safety at a Luminary experience means security at the door. That is part of it. Most of it is quieter.
It is lighting you can see faces in. It is a lounge where the music is low. It is hosts who walk the room and make eye contact. It is an orientation that says out loud what is and is not expected. It is a clear way to raise a concern and know it will be handled.
Safety is a design problem before it is a staffing problem. We treat it that way.
